GO480 by
Mike Rapoport
When I read about Lycoming engines the terms "wide deck", "narrow deck",
"straight valve" and angle valve are used to describe different
cylinder/case configurations. What is the GO480 in my Helio Courier?
Narrow deck? Wide deck? Angle valve? Straight valve?
Thanks
Mike

Going for my Multiengine rating by
Kobra

school has a Piper Seneca I (PA34-200) circa 1973.
It fly's like a flying Bulldozer on Codeine (sp?). It's a beast...really.
The controls...

Going to Paris, which Airport? by
Frode Berg
Hi!
I might be flying to Paris with my son next week.
Never landed near Paris to go to town (flown past a few times) so I'm not
really familiar with the airports there.
Which one is the typical GA one?
I need AVGAS, and it would be nice if it's easy to get to downtown Paris.
Thanks for any tips!

Golf Cart Tugs by
Ashton
Does anyone have any experience towing their airplane with a golf cart? I'm
thinking about mounting a ball on the front of a golf cart to move my
Bonanza in and out of the hangar.
Many thanks.

good A&P & avionics rec's in/between Houston & Austin by
Giganews
Since moving to the Houston area I have had trouble finding a good mechanic
and avionics facility for my 1962 Comanche.
Since I live 60 miles west of d/t Houston anywhere really between Austin and
Houston (and 75 miles North/South of that corridor) would qualify.
I am finding a lot of...

Good Avionincs Shop in Maryland/Northern Virginia Area ?? by
Jay Somerset
Does anybody know a good, reliable (and not atrociously expensive) avionics
shop in the Maryland/Northern Virginia area? I'm based at GAI, but
Aerotronics has been effectively out of business for months -- not
officially, but no one is ever home. :-(
I used to go the a shop at College Park, but...

Good first partnership or not? 1/6th Cherokee 140 Share in CA by
noah
Hi r.a.o guys,
Thru a local ad I found a 1/6th share in a 1969 Cherokee 140
(hershey bar wing). I've done some minimal due diligance on it and it
looks, well, like an old 1969 rental. The nose-wheel cowling is pretty
worn (looks like it's been glued several times) and the paint is
original & drab....

Good for another 2 years! by
Jim Burns
To piggy back a thread from RAP, I'm good for another 2 years (as far as a
medical) and our plane is good for another 2 years also (as far as it's IFR
certification).
One of my partners flew the Aztec over to our local avionics shop on Monday
and it wasn't long before I got the dreaded phone call....

Good Paint Remover? by
Marco Leon

Good Places to Fly? by
maflyboy
Has anyone found a good online resource for places to fly on the
internet? I have been using www.flyinggetaway.com and really like it
but they are primarily East coast based. They say they are growing it
to the entire country but it will take a little time.
I don't want to have to pay for anything...
