WTB CHT probes by
[email protected]
A friend of mine is in need of six sparkplug type of CHT probes. He
bought a engine analyzer with bayonette probes, but his GO-300 won't
accept those.
I think that he bought the JPI one, i'm not sure what flavor probes he
needs.
Anybody have any laying around they would like to part with,...

Paperwork for transponder replacement. by
Rutger
Whenever someone replaces an existing transponder with a different
brand or model, is all that will be needed paperwork-wise just a
logbook entry, W&B update and a new 24-month transponder certification
test done? Or is this treated really obtusely and require approval of
a 337 to describe the...

Good Stories about Plane Purchases by
Jon Kraus
I am looking into purchasing my own plane... I think that I am pretty
aware of the costs (as much as a non-owner can be). I would like to
hear from those of you who have had a good experience with a plane
purchase. I have the bad experience posts also. My guess is that the
good will outweigh the...

Golf Cart Tugs by
Ashton
Does anyone have any experience towing their airplane with a golf cart? I'm
thinking about mounting a ball on the front of a golf cart to move my
Bonanza in and out of the hangar.
Many thanks.

Mooney M20 K on Grass ? by

Well ... it's not dangerous, but it might be expensive :-)
You can operate a Mooney off grass. Lots of people do. However
you really want the smoothest possible grass, which is fussed over
and...

Poor readability by
Kees Mies
Hi,
I have a problem with my com system.
When my passenger has plugged in the headset the signal becomes very
weak.
I had the maintenance guys have a look at it but they say all works
fine.
We also use the same type of headsets and tried the mono/stereo
setting but this does not improve...

Airplane Parnerships by
Jon Kraus
What would be some ways to get in touch with someone when looking for a
partner to share in the joys (and sorrows) of aircraft ownership? I am
going to try placing flyers at the local FBO's. I thought about
downloading the Airmans database from the FAA and pulling out all the
pilots with current...

On The Subject of Choke-Removal, Continental Engines by

I am completing a top overhaul on a 200 hour "Re-Manufacture" by Chuck

The former owner had this process done, and the engine was given a

If you are wondering about the reliability of such engines, ponder the
possibility of having to replace all the cylinders at...

Yes, I know that alcohol left sitting in gasoline will slowly accumulate

It will probably accumulate quite quickly from the hose the retailer sticks

Fuel Guages by

I just bought a Helio Courier and the fuel guages (actually one guage with a

Where should I start? does anybody know what the resistance range...

Assumption: $40,000 plane bought with a 15-year 7.5% loan with 20% down.
Startup costs:
