My first flight in a Pitts today (S2B). Now that was quite a flight! We did all the usual stff, rolls, loops, some vertical stuff. Rolling was amazing. It took me a while to get loops to come out OK, for some reason I kept relaxing the stick after the initial pull and running out of energy....

Misguided new policy at Palm Springs Air Museum by Wings Of Fury
CAMERA BAGS ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED AT THE PSAM. Went down there today to see the B-25 flight, and they would not let me in, period. Backpacks are also not allowed. BUT they will continue to allow women to bring in those bigass purses of theirs......something stinks.......

Everybody catch Letterman on 5/20. Jamal Solberg in a Christen Eagle, I believe. Not bad exposure for the sport.

My latest endeavor has been to learn to snap-roll the Super D. A couple of training flights in an Extra 300 proved that I could learn to fly them, but transferring that experience to the Decathlon has been humbling. (As an aside, I *strongly* suggest you do not go fly an Extra 300 when you own a...
