F-105 and A-4 loss rates over North Vietnam by
KDR
As everybody here probably knows, USAF F-105 Thunderchiefs and USN A-4
Skyhawks bore the brunt of the Rolling Thunder campaign from 1965 to
1968 and suffered accordingly. The F-105 and A-4 losses over North
Vietnam were 282 and 173 respectively.
Now the harder part. What were their loss rates...

F-14 approach AoA, is it really 15 degrees? by
sttp
Elsewhere I've read that the Tomcat flies "units" of AoA, not degrees, with
its AoA range of -10 to +40 degrees being converted to units in the 0 to +30
range. That would mean the formula for converting units to degrees in that
plane is . I've also read that approach AoA
for the F-14 is 15 units,...

What is Happening with T-34C's? by
ORVAL FAIRAIRN
I understand that the T-34C is now phased out of Naval service. I have
also heard rumors that the Navy, in their infinite wisdom, is going to
cut them all up, rather than sell them to willing civilian buyers.
Anybody out there know the truth?
