Captured V-1 Pulsjet being Fed by
robert arndt
http://www.texasmonthly.com/ranch/srl/images/v-1rocket.1.jpeg
A captures pulsejet on a stand. Notice that is operating by being fed
air, fuel, and notice the spark plug lead.
Again, notice how the pulsejet CANNOT operate INDEPENDENTLY without
flying at at least 186 mph.

Cargo plane in movie "Flying Tigers" by
John Fitzpatrick
Forgive me if this has been answered before, but does anyone know the
name of the cargo plane featured in "Flying Tigers" and any info on
it's origin and fate? It seems as though it was Italian and a one-off
unit, but that's something of a WAG.
Thanks,
John

Carrier Islands by
Thomas W Ping
Are there aviation-related reasons why the starboard side is favored
for the island, or is it a purely naval issue? If the latter, did the
practice come about because the first pioneering carriers were
arbitrarily drawn up that way and the configuration simply stuck as a
matter of tradition, or...

CF-105 AVRO Arrow etc. by
Ed Majden
The CF-105 Avro Arrow was often referred to as the most advanced
fighter/interceptor of the day. First fly-by-wire, autonomous intercept
capability, etc. Sadly it was cancelled with all proto-types destroyed.
Many of the design engineers headed south and contributed to the American
space program....

Change the name to trainers. by

Flight Simulators as used on PC's should not be called simulators because they
simulate too damned little. Call them flight trainers. That is a far more
accurate description by far. Except the ones that are just games. Call them
flight games. After all else has failed, always resort to reality no...
