Solar Powered Hour Meter by
wayne
I am thinking about importing some little meters as I think they would be
very valuable to the aviation community as a whole. I am trying to gain a
little insight, before I make a large purchase of these meters, whether
you guys and gals see a benefit and would be interested in purchasing one
for...

Aircraft stuff for sale... by
cavelamb himself[_2_]
Stuffed!
I got rid of most of this kind of stuff a couple of years back
when I sold my house on the airport.
But the perversity of inanimate matter tends toward maximum.
Some of it just clings to you no matter what.
While cleaning out stored boxes of stuff I found some stuff that
I just can't...

P-47 Gets "Kill" at Arlington by
Ron Wanttaja
Had a buddy whose campsite is right on the show line at Arlington, and right
next to the runup pad for runway 16.
The Flying Heritage P-47 was getting ready to fly, and its tail was pointed at
the fence as it was running-up. It blew a Yorkshire Terrier halfway across the
road. :-)
Dog is OK and...

halon- full inhalation by
angie1971
Hi there.
Seems to be alot of discussion on the halon dry chem, used in fire
extinguishers.
My unfortunate luck would put me in fornt of an emergency self pull trigger.
It actually is used in the engine compartment where if you have a fire break
out, it is able to self extinguish the area...

123.5 RAP/RAH Monitor OSH by
RST Engineering
123.5 is not a freeforall chatter frequency, but if it is used judiciously
at OSH for short periods for necessary communications, I don't think anybody
will be too put out by it. That's the frequency I'm going to monitor.
Let the kids play with the FRS radio if they want something to play...
