Hiroshima-- are we projecting backwards? by
Charles Gray
Just my thought-- is it that Hirosshima wsa so bad, (and it wasn't
worse than Tokyo), or are we simply projecting the emotional and moral
baggage that nuclear weapons have come to be associated with on it?

Hiroshima. The final word. by

To have had the ability to end the war and not having done so, would have been
the greatest war crime of all.

Hiroshima/Nagasaki vs conventional B-17 bombing by
zxcv
Since the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs were about 10 kilotons and a B-17 had
a normal bomb load of about 3 tons and I have heard of a formation of 1300
B-17's on a bomb run that would equal around 4 kilotons (3 x 1300 = 3900)
would the devastation be the same as a small A-bomb? or is there...

Whatever happened to the F-20 (Tigershark)? I think it was a single

HK CAWS ...for Ariennya by
robert arndt
So, Germans can't match Italian shotguns? Wrong. HK CAWS was the
world's most advanced back in its day:

But don't get me wrong, I'm not arguing with you about the excellent
arms of Beretta, Franchi, or Benelli. I just wanted to show you that

Homeless 'jet setter' spins Riverside Park 'rape' by
MoNCLerS3799
So the pair went to a secluded area and enjoyed wild, stark naked sex against a wall and on top of a subway grate, he claimed -- making no mention of the prosecution photos showing Tatiana's multiple bruises, which included stripe-like abrasions from the grating.
"Yes! A public display of...

Honor to those who came forward by
ArtKramr
On this 4th of July let us honor all who fought. But let us especialy never
forget the special few who came forward volunteering and said, "Take me. I'll
go" It was these men who formed American elite units; Marines, Airborne,
Seals, Submarine Service, Air Corps and Air Forces. We owe them all...

Hornet down @ RDU, pilot OK by
John S. Shinal
F-18 lost power during takeoff at Raleigh NC's RDU airport,
and ended up in a burning pile beside runway 2L - pilot ejected OK,
apparently unhurt.
Hornet is still burning like hell, despite a huge amout of
foam, no injuries on the ground, and a few airliners have taken off
since the accident.

Go to my website to the section titled, "MISSIONS AND RESULTS". Click on "The

How Aircraft Stay In The Air by
Sarah Hotdesking
I received this today:-
There are still people in this company who think we weigh aircraft to find
out how much they weigh, not to calculate stresses. Of course we need to
know how much the thing weighs. How are we ever going to know how many
Thrust Pixies we need to get the thing off the ground...

How Boeing steered tanker bid by
Henry J Cobb
http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/news/world/8297433.htm
But the e-mail and other documents show just how intent the Air Force
was on steering the deal to Boeing, even though Airbus' tankers were
more capable and cost less.
