Paul Remde
NEW - DG-1001e neo with FES with 40 HP
Quality, performance, safety and all-round capabilities have always been the most important characteristics of our well known DG-1000 family since its roll-out. With more than 300 units sold, the DG-1000 family is flying in all areas of gliding. For us it was...

Looking for articles on flying OLC. Performance optimization. by
Martin Gregorie[_6_]
Does your club have any beginner tasks, tasks with club trophies, etc? If
yes, start with them.
What worked for me, once I'd gotten past taking every thermal (which got
my Siver C and 100km BGA certs), was first learning to fly a task while
staying high and avoiding landouts rather then...

CallAir A9 compared to a Pawnee by
Charles Longley
To those that have flown a CallAir A9 how does it compare to a Pawnee in flying? Same engine so I am guessing the tug performance is about the same.

Need open hitch from Tehachapi to Atlanta. by
[email protected]
Potential purchase of a glider with Cobra trailer at Tehachapi and need it brought east to Atlanta. Anyone with an open hitch available in the near future? I'd be willing to go as far west as Dallas to rendevouz. Thanks.

Cobra Trailer For Sale by
Dan Marotta
I just learned today that Renny Rozzoni's Cobra trailer is available for
sale at Fidel's at Moriarty (505-417-5299).Â* The trailer is practically
new, I think it's a 2018 model, and it was delivered to the States with
a Ventus 3 FES inside.Â* Sadly, Renny crashed the Ventus last year.Â* I do...

Rear Seat Scoring by
Bob Youngblood
I happen to be looking at some OLC scoring and noticed that there were rear seat ride along customers scoring flights on OLC as if they were the PIC. Is there any provision for making sure that the ride along is not permitted to score the flight as if they were the primary scoring individual.

History Question About U.S. Tasking by
[email protected]
Does anyone recall when U.S. contests (especially nationals) evolved from "announce the task at the morning pilots' meeting and fly it no matter what" to the more enlightened "Task A and B (and C and D...) and pick one--or define another--on the grid or even in the air"? I can't recall whether this...

Roy B.
We are looking to buy a serviceable trailer that can be modified and configured for a Pilatus B-4. Open or enclosed are fine, but must be a reasonable drive from New England. If enclosed, the minimum interior height must be 48" from floor to ceiling at wing root and 46" at canopy point. Post info...

Howling sound when flying by
Armand Charbonneau
My Ventus 2c makes a howling sound when flying at 0 flap setting. It is significantly less noticeable immediately after changing the flap setting either positive or negative. Pilots tell me they can hear it when flying overhead or landing. I can hear it seemingly behind me, inside the cockpit. ...
