Need a measurement on an LS-8 by
Mark628CA
I have a customer who ordered a wing wheel for an LS-8. I have a wing profile template, but I need a measurement from the ground to the bottom of the wing at a position with a 29 inch chord so I can determine how tall the wheel fork needs to be. I tried to calculate it from the 3-view drawing in...

Rewiring boom mike for ASW27 by
[email protected]
Anyone who has flown with me knows the quality of my radio transmissions both in and out really blows. I'm ripping out as much as possible and starting fresh. It would be great to replace the boom mike wiring through the right side wall to make sure it is not part of the problem. Has anyone...

I wish to replace it and maybe others are in better condition to give me an idea of it's original shape.

LXNAX V7 firmware update from Oudie2 by
Ethan Ronat
I just updated my Oudie2 to version 6.17.001, and copied onto it's root directory the files for updating my LXNAX V7 firmware to version 4.98-99.
When checking the Setting menu in SeeYou on the Oudie2, I could not see anymore the LXNAV V7 or LXNAV V7(2) that used to be there for doing these...

LX Zeus and PowerFLARM Brick by
Gabriel Duford
Hello,
Has Anyone connected a PowerFLARM Brick in a LX Zeus?
I'm also curious to hear about experience with the LX Zeus. It doesn't seem to be widely used. The LX9000 is everywhere, but the Zeus? Documentation (manual) is also very poor for the Zeus compared to the LX9000.
Thanks,
gabriel

Gaggle Soaring by
DGRTEK
Scott,
Talk to the pilots on the ground first. Tell them you'd like to try and join
up. Enter the gaggle in the direction that has been established. Stay in a
position that allows you to see the other gliders and have them see you. Try
not to get directly beneath someone, in case they goof and...

Adding vents to Smiley bags by

Wondering if there's a recommended vendor to add vents to non-vented
Smiley bags (AS-W27). I can't get all the air out of these bags with
the usual foot pump. The factory bags were vented and held more water
but look fragile and already leak.
Alternatively, parts and procedures for...
