Have you looked online at the collection at Udvar-Hazy? If the Ki-45
was moved out there, it's likely entire. If it isn't there, then it
probably is either incomplete and still in restoration, if the fuse
was as good as you say.

I don't remember seeing the plane when I was at U-H in January.

I'm sure it's still possible to tour Garber (when I was last there, it
not only had bits and pieces of airplanes, but also contained a lot of
archival stuff). But I suspect you'll have to make advance
arrangements with NASM.
