That was nifty - seems like a good use for electrics.

Except the part about burning out both motors...

It looked like the pilot got the tow rope, and the glider went for the ride.

That's how hang-glider aerotow works...

The next video that played had me also surprised to see a drogue chute
used for the landing!

These machines are high enough LD that landing without drag devices
can be a PITA. Some have deployable drag device on the extended keel.

I spent today trying to repair my electric machine, aaarrggg....
With a nice break when Nico visited for a socially distant lunch!
Failure #24 fixed, #23 still intermittent (I HATE intermittent problems)...
