30 Yrs in Kansas also. Our '65 Mooney went from $1400 per year to $0 when
it hit its 30th birthday. It is considered a "classic".

IIRC the age requirement is 30 years in California. That probably makes
at least half the GA fleet eligible. My plane (1958) definitely fits in -
and ZERO property taxes sure helps make flying affordable.
