My Cherokee's wing-walk has a few oil stains after coming back from an oil
pump impeller gear replacment session with my mechanic. Regular washing
doesn't touch it. I tried hitting it with Windex and that didn't lift it.
I've currently got some wheat-based kitty litter lying on it and haven't
seen the results yet. Anyone else successfully done this?

Castrol's "Super Clean" should do the trick. The stuff degreases better
than any other spray-on cleaner I've used.

If the cosmetics aren't the best once you've removed the oil, you may find
it best to simply repaint the wing-walk. A quart of that stuff is pretty
reasonable, and it goes on nicely over your existing wing-walk (as long as
it isn't all chunky from multiple re-applications.)

It really makes everything look "finished" to have that area good and black.
