I haven't had any problems with leaks around the lights. I get much more
water
in around the gas tanks and in the lap joint in wing skins than I do
around the
lights. I've only replaced one bulb in the wings in 700+ hours since
installing them. I have the skytec version of the pulse light on them,
which is
turned on for every flight. In the same amount of time, I've gone through
a
half dozen nose light lamps, and that one is only on during approach at
night.

Wow -- now that is a ringing endorsement.

Hell, at the cost of bulbs, you'll pay back a goodly portion of the
installation costs in a matter of years.
