I DID Google it. I didn't come up with much. So it must not be TOO
persistent because lots of searching hasn't turned up much. So instead
of just posting a "NO" .. quote some reference such as an AC or reg or
something I can go by .. or don't post a response. The purpose of this
group is to share information related to ownership issues .. not to simply
give a terse answer and tell owners to look somewhere else.

The aircraft I bought has a chrome spinner on it. Of the 5 aircraft I've
owned, none has had a chrome spinner. I have concerns about legality
and safety and so I asked for imformation. The spinner was chromed
11 yrs ago and shows no signs of cracks or other problems. But I am
aware that chroming alters the metal in the spinner.
