I used to keep my C172 in a Hangar on a relatively dry region. Now I
had to move and the airport closest to home is near the sea and there
is no hangar space available. There are a few things that concern me:

How to best protect the plane against corrosion considering the
circustances? I have already sprayed the plane with corrosionX.

How often should I wash and wax the plane. I have been sugested three
times a week which I believe is too much.

Another thing that concerns me is high winds. On the months of July to
December tropical storms might come to the area. How high winds would
be dangerous to keep the plane outside?
