I fly a small single engine aircraft, and am just trying to get an
idea of what it costs now to fly up to NYC for the weekend to visit
my brother.

I flew to NYC a little while ago for business. I let myself get
scared away from flying to Teterboro and went to Caldwell instead.
That was a serious mistake -- Caldwell was a very nice airport, but it
was so far west that I felt like I was half way to Chicago. It took a
very long time to get into Manhattan from there, and the difference in
transportation cost (not to mention time) was far more than any extra
fees and fuel costs I would have paid at Teterboro.

Next time, I do things the easier way.

All the best,

David
