As far as I know, there are no "third party" paper publications that list all
the stuff that's in the A/FD, specifically navaid service volumes and the
like. That's certainly true for the AOPA Directory and Flight Guide. For
instrument pilots, checking that data is necessary to meet the "all available
information" requirement in the FARs.

There is at least one Palm product out there that contains everything that's
in the A/FD. I can't remember the name of the darn thing offhand. Obviously
the AOPA electronic directory doesn't hack it.

Define "legal replacement". In what situation do you think something like
the Palm Airport Directory would not be "legal"?
