I saw recently on the disovery channel that the 3rd safest group of

by occupation are pilot. Just thought I'd share with you guys


I think as a pilot safety gets drilled into you; not taking stupid chances,
thinking ahead, etc. I really noticed that I became a more careful driver
after I started taking flying lessons. It just kind of carries over.


I pretty much always planned out trips (by car) calculated milage, made
ETA/ATA checks, etc. After taking flight lessons I had to REALLY fight
not to drive down the center line on the road after lessons
