¿¿Perhaps they haven't cancelled their IFR flight plans??
Ha...that reminds me of when I first obtained my instrument ticket in 1990.
I was driving to Reno from the San Francisco Bay Area and as I drove up the
Sierras in I-80, I entered a cloud (is it fog at 4000 feet?) and vis dropped
to nothing. The first thing I did was focus on the instruments in the car. I
was like "Whoa..hey there...this ain't telling me squat!".
