Wasn't that simple in my case. They won't send out a temporary certificate
just on the basis of my say-so on the telephone. Remember, neither the
FSDO nor OKC has any record of me taking the checkride! Nor, it now turns
out, does my DE. [At least he remembers it.]

Not on the phone. I walked into the FSDO with my temporary certificate and
they extended it for me.
