Otherwise there would be a gap. One of the da ds in my Scout Den was
an insurance broker. Before we flew he had a lot of questions. The EAA
policy is actually underwritten by a couple companies including
Lloyd's of London. All that paperwork must be submitted to BSA.
However, once you've done it a couple times you just use white out and
change the dates and resubmit the same stuff over and over. The CEO of
Golden Emprire (our local BSA council) was pretty good about it and
usually had a permit signed for me within a couple daysl.
