tough to cool properly. Does your design have actual scoops for the
cooling air, or NACA type openings?


Yes it does have scoops - with downdraft. But CHT's were not too bad.
Near limit at climb and only about 320F in cruise. Its the oil
tempereature that is of concern. Just found out that my oil cooler,
Positech 4211, is too small for the 220HP Franklin - Positech
recommends 4219.
