With journalism of this quality it's no surprise that 3/4 ths of
America
doesn't have a clue...

but also opposed to pick your country of choice.


No doubt having a huge population means that the U.S. also has a large
number of ignoramuses. People who can't find Austria on a map of the world
are common here, not only because they are ignorant, but because Austria is
irrelevant.

America has accepted your poor, wretched and down-trodden for over 225
years, so the results were inevitable. My family was part of that exodus,
some 160 years ago. It wasn't until my generation that we were able to
attend college, so it took a while for enlightenment to reach the huddled
masses.

But it did come.

That same huge population, however, also means that the U.S. has far more
highly educated, highly informed people than Austria has people.
