Considering that the FAA just reduced the number of flight operations at
O'Hare because of congestion, Daley's constituents should be screaming about
his closing a reliever airport.

If these groups had stood behind Meigs last year by refusing to perform,

negative publicity and outcry from the public could have driven King

to either re-open Meigs -- or to resign.
