They didn't care that I was in front of my house. I had no way to
prove that it was my house because I didn't have any ID showing where
I lived. I was on my nightly walk and for some reason had emptied my
pockets earlier. I offered to go in to get it, but they wanted no
part of that. After like 15 minutes, they finally wrote down my name
and "supposed address" and made it clear they'd be watching for me
lurking around town. (Lurking is not a quote, but is definitely the
impression they gave).

Is this the way you want to live?
Not a chance. Unless I'm wrong I was responding to a post that made
it sound like this was impossible. I'm walking proof that it is, and
I felt harassed.
