Who says the reservists/guardmen called up "want to be there."

They WANT to be in the guard/reserve, or at least that's what they wanted
when they either signed up to begin with, or took whatever
promotion/college grant/etc. that got them there in the first place. While
many may have had the impression that the guard or reserve was a free ride,
nobody twisted thier arm.
