Few minutes later, the tower called us:
"N30703, are you having some radio problems? We could hear all kinds
of conversation in your cockpit"!!!!!

Yeah, that's one good thing about the situation I heard -- we were on
Unicom, not ATC!

THAT would've been more than just embarrassing for the poor guy...
