You've gotten a lot of good information, and some suggestions for other
airports, so I have just a few practical suggestions. I've gotten contact
numbers for the airports directly from the City's websites, but it's been
a while so it may be that things have changed.

I agree with the suggestions that you not plan to land at Pearson.
Depending on which side of Pearson your hotel sits, pick the GA airport
that is nearest to it. For example, if it's on the North side, you may
want to land at Buttonville.

Take your passport, and allow ample time for your interaction with
Customs. They're polite, but thorough. I've had two Customs agents "work
me over" every time. Since you are on a "business trip", expect to provide
additional explanations unless you have a Canadian work permit. If this is
a seminar or other educational meeting, it may be better to state it as
such.

For your return trip, know that U.S. Customs closes up shop pretty
promptly at 5:00, so if you are arriving after that time, that +/- 15
minute window is rather important. If your plane doesn't already have a
Customs sticker, you'll be asked to pay for one on the spot.
