Not that strange. What's happening is Jon sends the first post,
which takes off into Usenet and starts appearing on other servers.
Then he sends the corrected post, which is a separate item and also
gets distributed to the Usenet servers. That's when you see two
seemingly identical posts. The second post is followed by a cancel of
the first post, which (eventually) removes the original post from some
servers. Some people might always see both posts, as some Usenet
servers do not accept cancel commands.

Ah....thanks John. I didn't realize you could cancel a previous post
(or, at least try to do so). And here I thought it was just Jon K's
evil plot to confuse folks out here in Usenet land. :-)
