Thankfully, they still teach "shop" in Iowa City junior high and high
schools.

They still do at my school, (thankfully g) but the emphasis is on
residential building construction.

I am very careful with safety, and never let any tool be run without proper
guards; even more safety in place than in industry. On top of that, I have
been trained, and am an OSHA "competent person". Some people out there will
understand all that this implies.

Basically, I try to idiot proof the shop and jobsite for the idiots. (of
which I have many)
