The folks at CSI:Miami never let things like 'fact checking' or
'realism' get in the way of the story. Even though the show has
reprehensible science, their dogged consistency is almost worthy of
grudging admiration. Most shows (no matter how badly they might try to
stay completely ridiculous) usually end up (at least accidentally)
getting something right at least once in their run.

CSI:Miami's determination to never endingly thumb their noses at
reality is on par with the writings of William Burroughs or Lewis
Carroll.

Except that those two authors had talent and knew they were writing fantasy.
With Hollywood you can count on neither.
