I was going to say that this arrangement sounds rather awkward but I'm keen on
'simairline' flying where the idea is to do as much of it in 'real-time' as
possible so, after 5-7 hours of nothing but water to look at, you really want to
be landing somewhere at the earliest opportunity. ;-) Therefore, no real hassle
in changing sceneries before flying any further west.


I think I have read on AS2-discussion-group at Compuserve that in AS3
there will be one coordinate-system for the whole earth.
