Murphy,
I got disgusted with not being able to download from FSPLanet for free
so I subscribed to their service. I just wanted to say that, for me,
it's a bargain. I save a lot of time because I receive his updated lists
via email every other day. I like his selections and he grades them
which helps me to decide what offerings to check out.

In addition, Ferdy Serena, the guy who runs the operation, is a
professional who has shown a remarkable ability to respond quickly to
emails.

I'll sit down now - I guess when I find a service that exceeds my
expectations I want to spread the good news!

Is it me, or has anybody managed to download anything from
fsplanet.com ? It was recommended to me as having very good quality
panels, scenery etc. and it looks to be true as you look through their
website. But I've been trying for about a month now at ALL hours of the
day and night and got absolutely nothing due to all of their nodes being
busy. I would be interested to know if anybody has been successful.

Although I know doesn't create anything original at
all I must say that flightsim.com also charges for access to freeware.
It's just alot more subtle. Avsim operates on revenue from MS and
developers that they jump into bed with. Developers they don't like or
sites that don't fall in line with them get the "business". Look at
both sites forums and you'll see tons of "glowing" posts about MSFS or
some new add-on in the store. It's all the same BS.

We're not bitter...just don't give a ****...we make more than enough
money.
