Sounds like a lot of wires and cables for something that is supposed to
be so simple.


Once you get through the wiring it is a very simple set up. I find it hard to
hear well using just the handheld in a noisy cockpit, and would prefer to not
use a headset.

I tucked the whole mess into a project box and now the only clutter is the
microphone cord!

I think it's great that you encourage students to carry a handheld. More
pilots should.
