It appears to be a satisfactory material (such as type 1460), and less
than $200US would be enough for an 18M wing and tail. The sewing
should be straight forward, according to my wife, and the fellow that
did have some sewn for him. I'd use them for only 3-4 weeks a year
during contests and soaring camps, so the $1600+ for Jaxida covers
seems expensive.

I have used the material for covers on my Glider, airplane, cars and
Motorcycles for over 10 years now. I am a layman on sewing but made
the covers my self. Some of them I glued with good results. What I
like with tyvek, it is real white, like no other material and keeps
things nice and cool, very lightweight and waterproof. In order to not
make it flap around too much, one needs to make a tight fit. With
velcro in the right places the covers should stay on alright. I had
the pure white outside and the lettering inside, which would leave
small amounts of blue one the wings. Lining them and small amounts of
netting on the bottom would be a plus, making the covers heavier.

With the price of the material, one can make new ones every 2 years.
If you don't mind the labor. Looking at the Jaxida covers, I am amazed
at the workmanship that goes into them!
