fan of Gilbert & Sullivan parodies. From one of my
favourite A.M.E.'s:

To the tune of 'When I Was a Lad...'; there's a pretty
active Gilbert & Sullivan parody site somewhere out
there....Got the CD somewhere near.

'When I was a lad I served a term
As Apprentice to an Aircraft Firm
I polished the spinners and turned the props
And took Tiger Moths on little short hops....'

I forget the rest, there were difficult circumstances
