The only problem I have is trying to use a DOS program
to download
from my GR-1000 logger; for that I have to use a DOS
window in Win98,
on my backup 'glider notebook'.

No lockups, although there used to be a problem with
IE - fixed by an
automatic update from MS.

Isn't it fun being having to be a computer geek to
fly gliders
nowadays?
(Actually, I kinda enjoy playing with all the toys...)

Same here, SeeYou works great BUT the Colibri logger
is not recognized so uploads and downloads are impossible.
XP calls it a 'pointing device' ! Notebook with Windows
98 and latest version of LXFAI does the job. If you
only have one PC, stick with good ol' W95 or W98 as
long as you can.
