Hi,

I dropped an iPAQ a few years ago and damaged the screen. I was extremely
impressed with the repair service offered by Compaq at the time. They
overnighted a padded box to me and I sent it in for repair. It was returned
quite quickly with a new screen. The repair wasn't inexpensive but it was
much cheaper than replacement. I suggest you use the HP web site to find a
repair facility and give them a phone call.

I don't know if they still repair the Aero units - I doubt it.

Good luck,

Ebay has some good prices on used ones that sound in
good shape...might be cheaper then the repair route.

I have a Compaq Aero 1500 Pocket PC that has a crack

the upper right blank corner of the screen it seems
to work, but the

do I send it for
repair in the San Francisco area? Can these thing be
repaired?
