Mine was located in the right engine nacelle, I believe in the area
behind the firewall.

the pilots side cabin floor, co-pilots cabin floor, or the right engine
nacelle. I'll turn it on and give a listen. Right now everything is
pointing to the brushes being glazed over, from what I can find in the logs
the roll servo hasn't been touched since it was installed 9 years ago and
S-Tec recommends cleaning up the brushes every 3-4 years to prevent roll
oscillations due to a higher required starting voltage.
