The Pratt-Read was built for the Navy by the Pratt-Read piano company (their
first and only glider).

The TG-2 was built by Schweizer and is a different aircraft.

I did my initial training in a Pratt-Read (30 years ago). Great fun.

The Pratt-Read is an ex-Navy glider IIRC.

I did not know the Navy had a glider program.

The paint scheme looks identicle to the Army gliders
used at Twentynine
Palms.
