Low attendance and few spectators at Paradise City. The
weather was fantastic but the planes and people were just not there.
The planes that are there looked great but prices are going up.
I met a fellow that claimed to be the first PPC Sport Pilot and
another that claimed to be the first fixed wing Sport Pilot. Doesn't
matter to me if they are the first but it is good to see people are
making the transition. Should be many more by this time next year and
I plan on being one of them. If everything goes as planned I'll be
flying my wing into Paradise City.

If anyone is back or has the laptop with them, how about some news. I
decided not to go this year, and do Oshkosh instead. Can't afford
both. I can't find any online news reporting daily activiities. The
Southern Aviator Sun 'n Fun edition isn't posted online, so all the
editors must be at the show. Sure would be nice to be able to get all
7 days of that paper they do at SNF. Maybe the online Lakeland
newspaper has some show news? Is attendance down even more this year?
