Yep. I quit my school today. The ridiculous policies that have been
recently adopted together with the complete lack of flying time since
I got my ticket on 3/7 (4 whopping hours in 5 weeks??) and the
completely disorganized approach to this intrument ground school just
completely put me off.

I've already joined another school as of 11:00am today and I'll be
meeting with my instructor 1st thing Monday morning. I'm going to
miss flying the R44, but the new school will be getting a new Raven II
in 2-3 months. Until then, me and the 300C will be sharing foggle
time...

My new goal is to get my instrument ticket within the next 90 days and
have my commercail 60 days after that. A very aggressive schedule
considering I need to crank out 46 hours of X-country time while I do
my instrument training, but at this point I want to completely immerse
myself in flying.

he really cool ting is my commercail instructor has something like
20,000+ hours in helicopters. What better person to learn from???

So long as he's still breathing, I'd go with him, even if it does mean
helping him get his zimmer frame into the heli:-)
