Hi JIm,

I too just had to replace the muffler shroud on our 182P model.
Probably went through the same search criteria that you did including
the option of buiding it myself. Figured I would spend the $225
dollars either ordering it new from Cessna or in my time messing with
it. I went through Broadies Aircraft in Fort Worth Texas
(www.broadiesaircraft.com). Pretty painless online ordering system and
good confirmation via email of status. Also, on a separate ticket,
ordered a airleron rode end I had forgotten on the orginal. Both
orders arrived in five days including shipping. Being a IA, and having
a reasonable link to a commercial enterprise, you might qualify for a
dealer discount. Being private and not having that much dollar volume
I didn't pursue that path.
