Do you s'pose anyone ever actually RESPONDS to them?

I get about 20 a week in various forms. Very few people do respond I
believe but those that do will find they have to produce more and more
money to keep the possibility going. I did hear a rumour that someone
had 'lost' around 20,000GBP. Any responder could also eventually find
himself being blackmailed for attempting illegal money laundering.
