The Alko anti-sway hitch requires a 50 mm ball. This is the hitch that has a
large handle that clamps the ball horizontally to prevent the trailer from
swaying. (Works great by the way). In any case a 2" ball will not fit into
the hitch and a 1 7/8" ball is to small to be clamped.

So, it's good to know about a US source for 50mm balls.
