Every day these noisy, small private planes from
Palo Alto airport destroy my living space.
What are they doing that destroys your living space? Carpet bombing is
generally frowned on in the continental US, although there is probably an
exception for people who buy houses next to racetracks and airports, then
complain about the noise.
They fly too low, and this causes their low
frequency motor noise to enter my home and
drive me crazy.
I agree. You're obviously off-kilter.
Especially on weekend days, there is either one plane
entering or leaving my airsapce, so there is a constant
level of airplane nosie.
Please give us the GPS coordinates of your living space, and we'll make sure
that multiple airplanes remain overhead so you don't have to worry about
them entering or leaving *ahem* "your airspace".
As an aside, please quit breathing my oxygen. I need all of it, and it
really bothers me that you consume my oxygen without asking my permission or
properly compensating me.
I was happy to read that this airport is a money
loser, and it might be shut down, but not until
2017, when the lease is up.
I figure that by then, all of the VLJ's (that's Very Light Jets, to the
self-diagnosed crazies out there) will probably result in the addition of
even more runways at Palo Alto to handle the increased traffic. Of course,
since jets make more noise than prop aircraft, you'd do well to just go
ahead and set fire to your house now, instead of waiting until all the noise
from all of the little jets causes your home value to collapse.
Is there a way to shut this nuisance down any sooner?
Cancel your internet service? Perhaps unplug your computer? We'd all
appreciate it.
