Come on out to Phoenix, came out from FL last october, haven't seen a
hurricane yet (after having evacuated from landfall sights for Frances and
Jeane, and having the remnants of Ivan spin across my place at midnight
scaring the **** out of me as my apartment literally shook), however the
cave creek fire has given us a bit of smoke from time to time. Only real
downside is that there are 2 seasons... Summer, and Hell. But after flying
in FL, I can honestly say that flying out here is no more uncomfortable than
mid 90s and super high humidity.
