And the news media can give you 24 hours of coverage, with 15 reporters
on the scene giving you blow by blow descriptions.

Tropical storms and hurricanes have always formed in the Atlantic and
created havoc in the Caribbean and southeast since before Europeans
explored the area. And they occur every season (June through
November). Some of them even travel up the coast and then dodge in at
full strength. This happened back in the mid 30's and the photo's of
whole sections of forests flattened in New England are still amazing
to see. What's different now is that more are forming than in recent
history, and more of the storms build into catagories 3, 4 and even 5.
