The big plastic
owls don't seem to work. Banging away on the big old
Ludwig drumset in
the back corner seems to help for awhile, along with
twanging on my
vintage Rickenbacker guitar - but my chops ain't what
they used to be!

Drum solos are so not cool these days and I just don't
think the Rickenbacker is right for the sparrow job.
I see the little blighters just perching on the rafters
chirping along to that jingle jangle guitar. I think
we're talking the classic set up of Strat, Marshall
100W Super Lead stack, Fuzz Face, Univibe and Octavia
with just a little Vox Wah (think 'Machine Gun') if
you want to seriously ruffle a few feathers.
